Take this road into Valliere and on the left, you will see a petrol station. Turn left just before this and continue up the hill past the cemetary on the right. After about 2 km you will see L'Epine de La Messe on the left.
By road/ferry from UK
There are many routes available for travelling by road from the UK. Ferries from Dover are operated by P&O www.poferries.com Sea France www.seafrance.co.uk and Speed Ferries www.speedferries.com Alternately, the shuttle runs up to four times an hour www.eurotunnel.com and takes only 40 minutes.
Take your preferred route through France (from experience it is easiest to stick to the autoroutes) to either Limoges and follow the directions above. If you travel on the A71/A20 from Paris, leave the A20 at J23 and follow the N145 to Gueret. From Gueret, take the D940 to Pontarion and then turn left onto the N141 and follow the instructions above. Expect to pay up to 35 euros (some are time zoned) in motorway tolls.
